This afternoon we went to the U Lazy U Farm for a little play time with the pigs and pumpkins. It is such a fun place! They take you on a hay ride from the parking area back behind a big corn field that has been made into a maze. Once you're there they have a little fire to warm up next to, a maze made of hay bales that they let baby pigs run around in (and your kids too, if you want!), hay bales to climb on, two big containers filled with grain that the kids can play in, a big pumpkin patch and Mike's favorite, pumpkin launching. We visited the pigs first, neither of the kids wanted to run around with them (which was OK with me), but one of the guys at the farm caught the smallest one and Cora loved petting it! They visited all the other areas and then each picked out a pumpkin, and daddy picked out 6 little pumpkins to launch at some targets (if he has a chance to "shoot" anything at a target he's thrilled). He never did hit anything but it was a beautiful sunny day and such a fun way to spend the afternoon!
