Playing preschool

Wyatt reading me a story

Wyatt teaching me a song

What's with all the posts today? Well, I have some weird stomach thing and though I don't feel so horrible I have to stay in bed 24/7, it's enough that I don't really feel like leaving the house. I also promised Mike, who is currently at church (and doing my nursery job) with the kids, that I'd take it easy so that I will hopefully be fine by the time he has to go back to work in a couple days. However if I take it easy today, I better be fine tomorrow because I don't do well with not getting stuff done. Anyhow, I'm a little bored so I thought I'd update the blog.

This week I finally figured out how to get a little more info out of Wyatt about preschool! He never tells me much, "I played", "I played outside", is most of what I get, and a lot of "well, I don't know." So this week, he started pretending to be Mrs. Gillaspy and teach me things. It's been fun to see him show me/ do some of the things that his teachers must do. He has also assigned Cora a role to play, she is the assistant teacher in his classroom, Miss Naomi! She is THRILLED about this and proudly walks around pointing to herself saying "I Nao, I Nao!" Another thing I've learned is that if Wyatt were the teacher, he'd be teaching the kids to jump, roll around on the floor, and make all kinds of loud noises - just a few of the things I've "learned" this week!
