The First Field Trip

When we arrived the kids had to chase down the resident kitty - poor kitty, it probably looked like a mob of "tail pullers" was after her!

Last Thursday was Wyatt's first field trip, we went to Dusty's Nursery/ Pumpkin Patch. It was a SUPER cold morning, but very fun! We were very fortunate that Mike was home all day so he and sissy were able to go with us. The kids went through the corn stalk maze, chose their pumpkins from the patch and had a class picture take on the hay bales. However, the highlights for Wyatt were chasing down the kitty, pulling the wagon, and the picnic snack! I couldn't believe it, but after we left Mike actually suggested getting them a kitty for Christmas (since he had no idea how much they loved kitties!). I'm sure they'd love it, but I'm not so sure I'm convinced I want a cat. If we do, I told Mike it has to be a big lazy one that lays in the sun, lets the kids play with him and will go outside to potty! I'm guessing I won't find one of those - darn! :)
