Last night we read Wyatt a story and on the last page it showed the little boy in bed and his mommy leaning over to give him a hug goodnight. Wyatt asked "Mommy do we clean up before we go to bed?" I told him, "yes, usually you do, but sometimes when you are to tired mommy and daddy do it for you." So he then asked "Why didn't that little boy's mommy clean up his toys?" I wasn't sure what he meant, but then realised that last picture in the book showed toys all over the floor by the little boy's bed. He was really bothered by this and finally I made the excuse that maybe his mommy was going to come clean it up after the little boy went to sleep. He replied, "no, that would be to noisy and wake him up!" I guess he does appreciate a clean room afterall - even when he doesn't want to help with it!
