Happy 30th!

On January 9th Mike turned 30! He didn't want a party or anything special, but we did have plans of going out of town, but with bad roads, closed roads and flooding, we ended up staying right here and had a great time! My parents took the kids overnight so that we could really "go out", you know have dinner later than 5pm, eat slowly, enjoy a couple drinks, etc. So that's just what we did! We even sat in the "bar" area of the restaurant after dinner and had that extra drink! The next day after my parents brought the kids home we had a little birthday party/ family night for daddy, though he had already gotten into the cake before the kids ever got home!
