Seaside 2009

A couple weeks ago we took a little family trip to the Oregon Coast, just the 4 of us. We stayed in Seaside, which is a little "touristy", but at this age the kids LOVE it! We were only there 3 days, but really with all 4 of us sleeping in a hotel room, that was just right! We played on the beach, built sand castles, went downtown to the aquarium and rides, walked along the beach and "beach combed" and took a couple of amazing drives along the coast.
To keep them awake before dinner one night we took a drive, on the beach! This was probably Mike's highlight because he had no idea that you could do that! It was so neat to cruise right along the ocean! Then after dinner in an attempt to get the kids to fall asleep we drove south at sunset and got to see some amazing views of the ocean. We had so much fun, can't wait to go back next year!
