A prayer from Cora

Last night at dinner Cora was being quite the little ham, she thought she was very funny and entertaining and wasn't really into eating. I kept reminding her that she needed to eat, stay in the chair, not stab the new table with her fork, etc. Then, completely out of the blue she threw her arms up in the air, looked up and said, "Oh God, please help me!" in very dramatic fashion. It was silent for a minute as I waited for what she needed help with. She didn't say so I asked what she was asking God to help her with and her reply (again in dramatic fashion) was "to eat my applesauce." There you have it, spontaneous praying from a 2 year old, to help her eat her dinner!
