Camping at Sunlakes

Last weekend our small group went on a camping trip to Sun Lakes. There were 5 families with little kids and 2 of us brought along our parents - so 7 families in all! We had a great time hanging out together and watching the kids play and get REALLY dirty! :) The weather was beautiful (though we had a suprise wind storm Saturday night, but thankfully the tents didn't blow away!) and perfect for playing in the water. We also had a visit from some local racoons after we went to bed Friday night. It seems they have gotten quite good at stealing camper's food! They got into closed boxes and zipped up bags in search of all of our goodies. We noticed that they have also gotten quite picky and really knew what to look for. They sampled my mom's bread and the kid's veggie puffs, but actually made off with our trail mix and granola bars! Some other items of choice were gourmet potato chips and cheese-its, I have to say they definately knew what the good stuff was!
