Omak Fish Tank

What an odd title...but that is exactly what Wyatt asked Mike to bring him back from the last work trip Mike went on. He was working in Omak for the week and asked Wyatt, "what do you want me to bring back for you, t-shirt, post card, etc.?" To which Wyatt relplied "an Omak fish tank, daddy!" So thankfully there was a WalMart in Omak because as the week went on I realised HOW serious he was. He kept talking about the fish tank and telling Cora that daddy was bringing one home for them! I told Mike that he better find one because now they had their hearts set on it. And he did - he brought home an Omak fish tank!
The kids and Mike set it up Friday and then Sat he took them to get some fish. Wyatt apparently thought we were just getting the tank for decoration because on the way he said, "OOHH, we're getting fish too!!?? I thought we were just getting the tank!" They came home with 3 nongoldfish fish (some of those goldfish kinda creep me out - like those buggy eyed ones) which they promptly named, Stripey (Wyatt's fish with a black strip down the side), Sunrise (Cora's fish that is yellow and orange like a sunrise), and Awesome - he's the odd man out but that's OK because he's "Awesome!" (and the only one who hasn't tried to die on us yet!). Yes, the kids named them with out help, and so far they are all still alive and swimin!

That's great -- I hope your fish live longer than the ones we had when we were kids! Don't let Mike take care of them, I'm sure it was him that killed ours....or maybe that was me....we'll blame it on JW.
