Fair and Rodeo 2009

Here are a few pics from fair/ rodeo weekend this past Labor Day. We took the kids to the fair Thursday night, then the rodeo slack on Friday afternoon, which they LOVED! Saturday we had planned to go to the parade, but it was so WET that we just hung out at home. That afternoon Mike's parents came over for the Extreme Bulls event that they treat us to each year. This year was so cold, I knew I'd just be miserable sitting in it, so Wyatt ended up going in my place. That kids rarely ever gets cold so I knew if we bundled him up and he sat with Mike (who's NEVER cold) that he'd do great. I'm so glad I let him go because he had such a wonderful time! The fireworks, the music, the bulls and cowboys, he was just so excited about it all! Then on Monday we took the kids back for a last go at the fair and this time my parents came up and joined us. Mommy doesn't do so hot on the rides anymore, I was a champ in my younger days, so that is why daddy is on all the rides with the kids - plus I'm sure he lets them spin those things faster than I ever would! All in all it was a great weekend and we look forward to doing it again next year!
