On Friday we took the kids over to the Seattle Acquarium for a "family day". We went last year too and we all love going there, however this year it was really neat to see how much more both kids (especially Cora) got out of it. It's quite the fasinating place and I love that it's "educational" as well. We discovered that Cora really loves starfish and was thrilled to touch and pat them, Wyatt even tried it too, and usually he won't even pet our family dog! :) They have an underwater viewing dome and while we were there an 8 ft sturgeon swam right up to the glass next to Wyatt! I thought the octopus was pretty neat, especially when viewed behind very thick glass. Oh, and let's not forget that they had a special tank with Nemo, "his daddy", and Dori! However I think the overall family favorites are the sweet little river otters at the very end. When we got there they were napping right up next to the glass and each of the kids sat next to them for a picture.
