Saturday I went to A Christmas Carol with my mom, grandma and sister in law at The Capital Threatre in Yakima. This was such a treat for all of us, because we very rarely do things like this, or go have a "girls" afternoon. We started out by going to lunch at The Olive Garden (that was my favorite place when I lived in Yakima!) and then we went across the street to the show. The Capital is an old theatre that has been restored, it's not huge, but it is gorgeous and glamorous - you feel so special just being there! Outside they had horse drawn carriage rides, the reindeer, the camel, carolers, all kinds of Christmas scenery and even fake snow! It was really special and the show was AMAZING! all of the actors were local, and they did a fantastic job! I'd totally recommend going to any show/ production that they do there. Thanks so much to my family for making this such a special and memorable day - I love you all and love spending time with you!
