I just had to share this because Mike and I got a huge laugh out of it! Miss Cora is turning into quite the comedian, and usually unintentionally. She has developed a love for "The Little Einsteins" show, and on that show there is an airplane the call "Big Jet," and a little rocket thing called "rocket" that the little Einsteins kids ride around it. Well last night she was sitting at the table and all of a sudden she yells out "Want Big Jet!" However in Cora words it came out sounding like "One big shet", I'm sure I don't have to tell you what that last word actually sounded like - though I didn't spell it that way! Oh my goodness it was funny, and she kept saying the last part too "big shet, big shet", trying to let us know she was talking about Big Jet! We tried not to make a big deal out of it at the time, but we had a great laugh over it after she was in bed!
A side note, I know "Big Jet" is what she meant because I was initially shocked at what I heard and asked if she was talking about big jet - and she said "yeah, big shet mommy" - so she really wasn't meaning to say anything bad (not that she's ever heard that anyway). Gotta love the way toddler talk sounds sometimes!

- Mike and I met while we were both going to college at WSU, and have now known each other for 12 years! It was a fix up and the rest is history! We were married in August of 2001, finished up college and moved about a zillion times before finally landing in Ellensburg in the spring of 2004. A little over a year later in May of 2005, Wyatt came along. Then just shy of two years later, in March of 2007 Cora arrived. We enjoyed an amazing 6+ years in the Burg, living near family, making wonderful friends and seriously growing and getting to know God more than ever before. In the summer of 2010 God called us to follow Him to a new place, Skagit County. We are now live in Mount Vernon and are in the process of growing our family! It's become so clear to us that God had much more in mind for us here than just a promotion for Mike. Not long after we moved, we were given an amazing opportunity to enter in to the adoption process (via foster care). We are now getting to know and building a relationship with a sweet and wonderful little 1 1/2 year old boy, Zayne. We love Zayne so much already and all of us are looking forward to the day when he can come home with us forever!

That is great...you guys will never think of the word "jet" the same again! Ezri did that with the word frog...you can use your imgaination on what that one sounded like...oh dear!
