So, the new fun accessory in our house is Mike's ear protectors, lovingly called "ear tectors" by Wyatt. I call them ear muffs, and let me tell you they do NOTHING for listening abilities. They commonly surface when I need to vacuum, Mike's mowing the lawn, or today when I broke out the food processor. As you can see they both love them, so I just felt complelled to share the pics! :)

Ear tectors were plopped on my little ears right before I would shoot every hunting season.....never seemed like enough muffle, but must have worked somewhat! Sounds like you guys had quite the 4th...the storm missed us here in MT, but we made it to some friends' house for a BBQ and some fireworks (1 hour worth and 1 exploded newspaper box). Great fun! When are you guys coming to visit? We just finished the basement rooms last weekend - lots of room for company!!! :)
