This year (and every year really), in keeping with the traditions both Mike and I grew up with, we ventured up to the mountains to find that perfect tree. (I'm thinking a quote from the movie "Christmas Vacation" would go perfectly here - something about it symbolizing "the spirit of the Grizwold Family Crithmith"). Anyhow this year we went with our small group and it was so much fun! It snowed a bunch the night before, so we weren't sure that we would all make it up, but we did. What a great day, a little chilly, but with the kids running around and a campfire for the adults we all managed to stay warm, except when you had to "go find a tree" - brrr! We found a great tree and as usual it was much bigger once we got home. :)

Oh Christmas Tree
Here at the Hobbs house we've fallen a little behind on blog posts for the holiday season. This is the beginning of my attempt to catch up and share all of the wonderful holiday memories we've created!
