So, I'm a little behind on the blogging - like a couple months! But, I feel compelled to post in chronological order (no suprise there), so I wanted to go back and post a few of the thing's I've missed. One of those was Easter....
Easter this year was quite special because Cora understood better (and did her 1st egg hunt) and Wyatt really understood the meaning and events in the Easter story. We ended up at church for all 3 services, which was a 1st, but amazingly the kids were champs! After that we went to Yakima for the day. We really tried not to comercialize Easter too much, didn't even really do the "Easter Bunny", just told them that the baskets were from mommy and daddy. We did however do a pretty fun egg hunt that Cora REALLY got into! That girl was determined and on a mission to fill her basket! In the end they dumped all the treats together in one bag and all the money together in another and split/ shared it all. Let me tell you, those were some seriously good Easter eggs, way to go Grama and Grampa!
