The Froggy and the Moo

(I accidentally put these pictures on here in the wrong order, so the ones from the start of the night are down at the bottom.) We had a super fun Halloween and both kids really got into the dress up and trick or treating! They were thrilled about their costumes way before we ever wore them, and it was so cute that they were both able to say "trick or treat", and "thank you" or in Cora's case "hinks!" We started with the downtown trick or treating while it was still light. We hit all the little shops and businesses and ran into lots of friends along the way. At about 6pm we went over to a friend's house for a little "group trick or treat party". We all ate dinner together and once it was good and dark we took all the kids out together. It was so cute to see them all together in the costumes. The group mentality led to no shyness as the ran up without parents to the doors with their little goody bags!

"I know you're in there!"
In this picture Wyatt was the 1st one up to the door, knocked and didn't get an answer. Well we didn't have time to get back off the porch before all the friends flooded the porch and all started knocking and call out "trick or treat!" They were not giving up either, we had to go up and get them! Poor people, I'm pretty sure they were home too, mobbed by a bunch of preschoolers!

All the little friends in their little costumes!

The Frog and the "Moo", as Cora said when asked what she was!

By the end of the night they had a very full candy bucket, mommy was carrying it because it was "too heavy", and Cora's mood had become considerabley less agreeable, she became known as "the mad cow"!

Yeah! I was waiting for these ones - they look cute! We didn't have any trick or treaters, so glad that we get to see some of your photos.
