Home on leave

A couple weeks ago my cousin was home on leave from Iraq and we got to spend the day with him and his family! They live over on the Westside, on the base, but came to Yakima for a few days to visit before he had to go back. They have a daughter Wyatt's age and a little guy who just turned 1. It was great to see them, and to hear that Shane will get to come home (to stay) by the end of May!

Wyatt was SO excited to meet Shane, it had been so long since he'd seen him, he didn't really remember him. Wyatt is so interested in soldiers right now, that getting to meet a "soldier", having one in the family and spending the afternoon playing with him was just super cool for Wyatt!

*For all my praying friends and family, please keep Shane, Tiffany, Theana and Derek in your prayers. I can't imagine how difficult it is for them to be apart, especially with little ones. Please pray for his safe return home as well as safety and endurance for Tiffany and the kids.
